Founder & CEO
Watson Bryant founded Bryant Capital Advisors (BCA) to help facilitate the growth and evolution of his private client’s real estate platforms. His career has focused on consulting with private clients in commercial real estate investments through both an advisory and ownership capacity. Watson’s focus with BCA is to create an institutional advisory approach to the middle-market investment world.
Prior to founding BCA, Watson served as Vice Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield and partner of the Sunbelt Multifamily Advisory Group (MAG). MAG was responsible for over 40% of multifamily trading in the Sunbelt, averaging approximately $15 billion in annual sales volume and 400 annual apartment sales transactions. While serving as senior partner of MAG Watson spearheaded over 200M SF of real estate transactions across MAG’s 11 state region.
Following his departure from Cushman & Wakefield, Watson led the formation of Stout Ventures where he has created 100+ principal partnerships owning and developing real estate. He brings over 20 years of market experience to the table. Watson’s extensive ownership experience combined with his advisory background allows him to better direct clients on investment decisions.
Watson holds a BBA in Real Estate from the University of Georgia and lives in Raleigh with his wife and two children.
Co-founder & Partner
Jake Viverette is Co-Founder and Partner at Bryant Capital Advisors, where he specializes in the investment sales of middle-market commercial properties. He works closely with property owners, investors, and tenants to provide strategic guidance, market insight, and hands-on support throughout the acquisition, disposition, and leasing process, helping clients achieve their commercial real estate investment objectives.
Prior to co-founding Bryant Capital Advisors, Jake was a Partner at The Overton Group, where he focused on the investment sales and leasing of commercial assets across the Sunbelt. In this role, Jake and his team successfully transacted on more than $300 million of commercial real estate during his two years at the firm.
Earlier in his career, Jake led acquisitions for Stout Ventures, where he spearheaded the acquisition of more than 60 multifamily and industrial properties throughout the Sunbelt. This experience provided valuable exposure to sourcing opportunities, underwriting investments, and executing transactions across multiple markets.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Jake attended the University of South Carolina, where he studied Finance. He later earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Director of Marketing
Serving as Director of Marketing for Bryant Capital Advisors (BCA), Sally Owens leads the firm’s marketing and brand strategy, overseeing the production of investment marketing materials, digital presence, and platform positioning across the firm’s advisory and capital markets initiatives. She leads the development of offering memorandums, investor presentations, and other strategic communications while maintaining brand consistency and exceptional standards for visual and written content across all platforms.
Sally joined BCA after leading the marketing and graphic design efforts for the Carolinas team of the Multifamily Advisory Group (MAG) at Cushman & Wakefield for nearly eight years, where she supported one of the region’s most active investment sales teams. Her experience offers a deep understanding of the investment sales process and effectively positioning real estate opportunities to investors through strategic marketing and articulate messaging.
Originally from Baltimore, Sally attended the University of South Carolina, where she earned a B.A. in Mass Communications. She also holds a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Property Management from Cornell University. Sally lives in Winston-Salem and enjoys interior design, photography, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.
Advisor
Sam Keefer is a commercial Advisor at Bryant Capital Advisors, focusing on middle-market industrial, flex, business parks, and retail investment sales across the Triangle market and broader Sunbelt. He works closely with property owners and investors to position assets, navigate negotiations, and execute transactions with a disciplined, market-driven approach.
Prior to joining Bryant Capital Advisors, Sam worked in acquisitions with CityPlat, where he sourced and evaluated commercial real estate opportunities throughout the Triangle. His experience underwriting deals and analyzing market dynamics provides a strong foundation for advising clients on investment strategy and execution.
Earlier in his career, Sam was a sales executive at Nutanix, where he managed a portfolio of enterprise accounts including JetBlue, NBC, Con Edison, and MUFG. He was recognized as a top performer and developed a track record of success in complex, high-stakes negotiations – experience he now applies directly to commercial real estate transactions.
Sam has been actively investing in North Carolina real estate since 2020, giving him a firsthand perspective on ownership, risk, and value creation. Originally from New Jersey, Sam has been based in the Triangle since 2019. He attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he competed as a Division I tennis player. He is an active member of the local investment community, regularly participating in industry and investor events across the region.
Advisor
Rocco Picone serves as a commercial Advisor for Bryant Capital Advisors (BCA), specializing in middle-market investment sales for industrial, flex, business parks, and retail commercial properties in the Atlanta MSA. His expertise allows him find unrealized potential in various emerging submarkets across the region. Rocco assists with acquisitions, market intel, due diligence, and dispositions with a multitude of CRE owners, providing systematic structure to transactions.
Prior to joining BCA, Rocco worked with Woodland Development on multiple development and acquisition projects throughout the Sunbelt totaling over 550,000+ SF in ongoing construction. His responsibilities with Woodland Development included capital sourcing, underwriting, and rigorous market research.
Earlier in his career, Rocco served as a retail investment analyst for The Shopping Center Group (TSCG), where he specialized in deal sourcing, client relations, and investment strategy. His team at TSCG was responsible for over $100M in single tenant and strip center retail transactions in 2025.
Originally from Chicago, Rocco attended Auburn University, where he studied Finance and Entrepreneurship. He has now found his way to Atlanta, where his hobbies include playing chess, golf, and club baseball.

Andrew Roupas serves Bryant Capital Advisors as a commercial Advisor, specializing in the leasing of industrial, flex, business parks, and retail properties. He works closely with property owners, investors, and tenants through every step of the commercial leasing and sales process. Andrew provides strategic market insight, transparency, and hands-on guidance to help clients achieve their real estate objectives.
Prior to joining Bryant Capital Advisors, Andrew worked with The Overton Group, where he focused on the marketing and leasing of industrial and retail assets across North Carolina. In this role, he partnered with ownership groups to position properties competitively in the market, actively sourced tenants, and helped facilitate successful lease transactions across a multitude of asset classes and submarkets.
Earlier in his career, Andrew supported the marketing and leasing efforts of industrial properties with Stout Ventures. This experience provided valuable exposure to working with ownership groups, positioning available space, and assisting with leasing activity across several markets.
Originally from Richmond, Andrew attended the University of Mississippi, where he studied Marketing. He now resides in Raleigh, where he enjoys working out, walking his dog, and playing pick-up basketball.

Michael Walsh is an Advisor at Bryant Capital Advisors (BCA), where he specializes in the investment sales of middle-market commercial real estate, with a focus on industrial, flex, business parks, and retail assets. He advises clients across the full transaction lifecycle, providing market intelligence, deal structuring, and execution support for acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing strategies.
Prior to joining BCA, Michael led acquisitions at Stout Ventures, where he sharpened his principal-side perspective through sourcing, underwriting, capital formation, and direct collaboration with private equity firms, high-net-worth investors, brokers, and sellers. Earlier in his career, he served as a general partner in a private investment group, assembling an off-market portfolio of credit-tenant medical office assets across North Carolina. This experience deepened his expertise in underwriting, due diligence, lease negotiation, and value-add execution.
Michael’s background as both an investor and operator informs his advisory approach, enabling him to align strategy with client objectives and drive optimal outcomes. He built his career in management consulting, spending nearly two decades with IBM Global Services and Aon, where he advised C-suite executives across the North American insurance sector. Michael earned his degree from North Carolina State University and resides in Wilmington, NC with his wife and two children.
Transaction Manager
Carolyn Ismaili serves as Transaction Manager for Bryant Capital Advisors (BCA), where she oversees the coordination and execution of commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing. In this role, she manages transaction timelines, documentation, and due diligence while working closely with brokers, attorneys, lenders, and clients to ensure each stage of the process is handled with precision and efficiency.
Carolyn brings nearly a decade of experience in the real estate industry, with a background spanning both commercial and residential transactions. As a licensed real estate professional, she has represented her own clients while also supporting brokers and deal teams across a wide range of property types. Her experience provides a comprehensive understanding of the transaction lifecycle and the importance of organization, communication, and proactive coordination in successfully navigating complex real estate deals.
Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Carolyn attended Kutztown University, where she studied Business. She now resides in the Raleigh area and enjoys spending time with her family, exploring local restaurants, traveling, taking day trips to the beach, and enjoying the lake.
Senior Financial Analyst
Conner Tait serves Bryant Capital Advisors as a Senior Financial Analyst specializing in the underwriting and financial analysis of institutional industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use assets across major U.S. markets. He works closely with investors, ownership groups, and clients to provide advanced financial modeling, detailed underwriting, and investment analysis, supporting strategic decision-making and the successful execution of complex real estate transactions.
Prior to joining Bryant Capital Advisors, Conner worked with Cushman & Wakefield, where he supported more than $500 million in transaction volume. In this role, he delivered advanced financial modeling, underwriting, and investment analysis across core, core-plus, and value-add investment strategies, helping guide clients through acquisitions, dispositions, and capital markets processes.
Earlier in his career, Conner worked with Altus Group’s Valuation & Advisory practice, where he developed a strong foundation in appraisal, equity valuation, and institutional reporting. This experience provided valuable exposure to institutional-grade valuation methodologies, financial analysis, and the preparation of detailed reports for investors and stakeholders.
Conner brings a disciplined, data-driven approach and institutional-level quality control to advising investors and executing complex real estate transactions.
Senior Financial Analyst
Mark Murphy serves Bryant Capital Advisors as a Senior Financial Analyst, where he specializes in the underwriting and financial analysis of institutional industrial, flex, retail, multifamily, and mixed-use assets across major U.S. markets. Working closely with investors, ownership groups, and clients, he delivers sophisticated financial modeling, thorough underwriting, and thoughtful investment analysis with the insights needed to successfully navigate complex real estate transactions.
Prior to joining BCA, Mark spent nearly 5 years at Cushman & Wakefield, where he supported approximately $2.5B of transaction volume, specializing in high complexity, mixed use multifamily projects across the Sunbelt region. In his role, he also led a national team of capital markets analysts, producing sophisticated financial models, underwriting, and investment analysis spanning core, core-plus, and value-add strategies, leading clients through the full spectrum of acquisitions, dispositions, and capital markets activity across 20+ major markets.
Mark applies a data & analytics focused approach to underwriting and investor advisory, maintaining institutional standards of quality across even the most complex real estate deals.
President, Partner
Langdon Clay serves as President of Property Management for Bryant-Clay Partners, where he leads the firm’s property management platform and oversees asset management strategies designed to maximize long-term property performance for clients across North Carolina. In this role, he works closely with BCA’s investment sales team to deliver a fully integrated approach to acquisitions, operations, leasing, and ownership strategy, providing investors with a seamless experience throughout the investment lifecycle.
In addition to his role at Bryant Capital Advisors, Langdon is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Clay Realty Company, a full-service real estate firm he established in 2020. Through Clay Realty Company, he oversees residential property management, brokerage, and investment advisory services while continuing to expand a vertically integrated platform that combines management, maintenance, and asset management under one roof. Langdon believes the strongest investment decisions are made when brokers and property managers collaborate from the outset, giving investors a realistic understanding of a property’s long-term performance and value.
Langdon’s passion for real estate began long before his professional career. Growing up in Raleigh, he spent his summers helping maintain his family’s rental properties, gaining firsthand experience in the day-to-day operations that drive successful investments. Those early experiences shaped his belief that exceptional property management is just as important as identifying the right acquisition opportunity. Today, that philosophy continues to guide both Bryant Capital Advisors’ property management platform and Clay Realty Company’s approach to serving investors.
A lifelong resident of Raleigh and graduate of Broughton High School, Langdon earned his business degree from UNC Greensboro before launching his career in real estate. Over the years, he has built an extensive network of trusted contractors, attorneys, accountants, and industry professionals, allowing him to provide clients with comprehensive guidance from acquisition through ongoing management and eventual disposition. His focus remains on helping investors maximize long-term returns through disciplined operations, transparent communication, and strategic decision-making.
Outside of work, Langdon enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their children, Beckham and Navy. Family comes first, and that same commitment to building lasting relationships extends to the clients and communities he serves throughout North Carolina.
Chief Financial Officer
Matt Canavan is Chief Financial Officer of Bryant-Clay Partners, where he is responsible for the firm’s financial strategy, capital planning, and overall financial operations across its commercial real estate investment platform. He oversees all aspects of corporate and property-level financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, capital structuring, debt management, and risk oversight. Working closely with the firm’s executive team, Matt helps guide investment strategy, evaluate acquisition and financing opportunities, support capital allocation decisions, and ensure the firm’s long-term objectives are supported by disciplined underwriting and sound financial management.
In addition to leading the firm’s finance function, Matt oversees investor and client reporting, financial analytics, and asset-level performance monitoring. He works closely with the asset management and operations teams to deliver actionable financial insights that support decision-making, optimize portfolio performance, and enhance transparency for investors, lenders, and strategic partners. His focus on operational efficiency, strong financial controls, and data-driven reporting helps ensure Bryant-Clay Partners maintains the highest standards of financial stewardship.
Earlier in his career, Matt led the financial division at The Lundy Group, where he played a key role in the firm’s growth and expansion of its property and asset management platform. During his tenure, he helped oversee significant portfolio expansion across medical office, industrial, retail, and other commercial asset classes while leading corporate finance, accounting, treasury, and investor reporting functions. He was instrumental in developing financial infrastructure, implementing scalable reporting systems, strengthening lender relationships, and supporting acquisitions and dispositions.
Originally from Saratoga Springs, New York, Matt earned a B.S. from Skidmore College and an M.S. in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. He resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Matt Burns serves as Director of Property Management for Bryant-Clay Partners, bringing more than 20 years of experience managing and improving commercial real estate assets. His background includes industrial, office, retail, medical office, laboratory, and mixed-use properties.
As Director of Property Management for Bryant-Clay Partners, Matt oversees property operations, financial performance, tenant relations, capital projects, tenant improvements, vendor management, and risk mitigation. He works closely with property owners to develop practical strategies that protect asset value, control operating expenses, and provide responsive service to tenants.
Matt is a licensed real estate broker and holds the Certified Property Manager® designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. He was named the 2024 CPM® of the Year by the IREM Greater Raleigh-Durham Chapter and has served as Chapter President.
Known for his hands-on leadership and solutions-oriented approach, Matt combines institutional property management experience with the accessibility and attention of a locally operated firm. He lives in Cary with his wife and two children.
